I'm Still Here...

I'm pretty sure you all thought I had fallen off the face of the earth....but I'm here. It's been an incredibly busy and interesting last few months with lots of exciting happenings! 

For now though...let's get caught up on what's been the deelio....

OUR LITTLE SURVIVOR...

Brooklyn's celebrity buzz here in Central AR officially kicked off with the unveiling of her portrait and story for the Go Red for Women Survivor Gallery! We truly got a taste of what it would be like to be a celebrity with paparazzi as there were at least 2 photographers literally on our heels every second we were there. They constantly snapped pics even of just me and Brooklyn talking. It was actually kind of creepy but I know it was all for a good cause and I was really excited for her!! Special thanks to all our family and friends who came out to support!!Here are some of the shots we took with our own cameras:

TOO MUCH WINTER

I've officially had too much winter this past winter!! Seems like we're barely getting our usual spring warmth too...nevertheless we took a shot at making a snowman during one of the MANY snow days at home and we've got some serious work to do...

BESTIE's. B-DAY

Back in February we also celebrated by BFF's (and that's not just a cliche) birthday. This girl and I have been celebrating b-days together since our 13th one and we sure are getting even prettier with age!!! Lol!! Well...at least she is....wasn't she beautiful that night??!!

FOOD REVIEW

I will officially give me 2 cents on the new Oreo flavor Cookie Dough...I give it 2 out of 5 stars. It almost tasted like maple filling instead of cookie dough....but the package sure was excitable!!

A BIG BOO-BOO

So I decided to be a total airhead on a long car drive home after working. Over the course of driving during the day something got stuck under my car. I got nervous that it might catch fire under the car and had the not-so-smart idea to pull over and get under the car and try to pull it out while the car was still hot!!!! Geeez....in retrospect I can see how that wasn't such a good idea...

BEDTIME SACRIFICES

It tickles me how Brook gives her Daddy such a hard time when she's awake....but when he honors her request of allowing her to sleep in the bed with us, she is always abusing him in her sleep too...lol!  I snapped this pic at 3AM when I woke up to use the bathroom. I just couldn't resist...lol!  Notice his defensive sleepig position...

BEST VALENTINE GIFT EVER

I just thought this little fridge magnet was the best gift ever!!

I also had a great time watching Brook and her friends stuff their faces with more  food than a 40 year old could eat let alone a 4 year old!! 

MY LITTLE DIVA

Isn't this girl a mess?!  She is really loving getting her little $5 manicure at the mall on the weekends. As far as that second pic goes, that was a total surprise to me after I was wondering why she was so quiet and I hadn't heard from her in a while...

HAIR HAVEN

  I've recently decided to go back to curly styles that can also be straightened. This was my latest adventure. As you can see, the added hair was a good match to my texture but I still needed to do something with the hair of mine I had left out. So, I set it on some straws and...voila! Perfect match! After about 4 weeks, I straightened it out and it blended well like that too.
